Furthermore, the Court has ordered the integration of traffic databases with the Vahan portal, effectively freezing essential online services for non-compliant vehicle owners. This includes the denial of Registration Certificate (RC) renewals and the issuance of fitness certificates until all pending dues are cleared. By linking financial accountability to the operational status of a vehicle, the judiciary aims to create a robust deterrent against traffic violations.
