Leadership Transition in the Indian Army: Lt. Gen. Dhiraj Seth Appointed as the Next Chief of Army Staff

The Government of India has officially announced the appointment of Lt. Gen. Dhiraj Seth as the next Chief of Army Staff (COAS). Currently serving as the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) of the Southern Command, Lt. Gen. Seth will succeed the incumbent General upon his retirement.
