A critical component of this reform is the proposal to allow INR payments for services provided by SEZ units to the DTA. Currently, transactions between SEZs and the DTA are often treated as exports/imports, which complicates domestic integration. By facilitating easier trade with the domestic market, the government aims to boost industrial growth and encourage domestic industries to utilize the infrastructure available within these zones.
