The Union Ministry of Agriculture recently conducted a high-level review of the summer Moong procurement operations in Madhya Pradesh, highlighting the government's commitment to ensuring remunerative prices for farmers. With 5.33 lakh metric tonnes of Moong procured at the Minimum Support Price (MSP), the initiative underscores the state's role in stabilizing market prices and preventing distress sales during the harvest season.
