The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has upgraded the Sanchar Saathi portal with an advanced system to identify and block international spoofed calls mimicking Indian numbers. This move aims to curb the rising tide of digital scams and financial frauds targeting Indian citizens.

The new system integrated into the Sanchar Saathi portal acts as a digital gateway filter, identifying these anomalies in real-time and preventing them from reaching the subscribers.
