The Ramakrishna Mission (RKM), established by Swami Vivekananda on May 1, 1897, recently marked its 129th Foundation Day. This milestone offers an opportunity to evaluate the enduring legacy of 'Practical Vedanta,' a philosophy that transformed the Indian socio-religious landscape and provided a spiritual foundation for modern Indian nationalism.
