The Indian Navy has achieved a significant milestone in its modernization drive by commissioning the country’s first containerized, Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled small arms firing range. Developed and delivered by Zen Technologies, this facility represents a paradigm shift in how military personnel undergo marksmanship training. By utilizing containerized infrastructure, the Navy gains the flexibility to deploy high-end training modules across various naval bases, overcoming the limitations of traditional, static firing ranges. The integration of AI into this system allows for real-time analysis of shooter performance, providing instant feedback on accuracy, posture, and reaction times. This data-driven approach not only enhances the efficiency of training but also optimizes the consumption of ammunition and reduces the logistical footprint required for large-scale training exercises.
