As quantum computers evolve, they threaten to render traditional encryption methods obsolete, potentially exposing sensitive government, financial, and defense data. To mitigate this, C-DOT has introduced advanced Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) systems and Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) solutions. QKD leverages the principles of quantum mechanics to ensure secure communication, where any attempt at eavesdropping is immediately detected, thereby guaranteeing the integrity of data transmission. Complementing this, PQC provides cryptographic algorithms that are resistant to attacks by both classical and quantum computers, ensuring long-term data security.
