The recent financial infusion of ₹200 crore by the Technology Development Board (TDB) into Agnikul Cosmos represents a strategic pivot in India’s space sector. By supporting the transition of the Agnibaan launch vehicle from Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 4 to TRL 8, the government is actively de-risking private sector innovation in high-stakes aerospace engineering. Reusable Launch Vehicle (RLV) technology is the 'holy grail' of modern space economics.
