The 'Sarkar Tumchya Daari' (Government at Your Doorstep) initiative represents a significant shift in the administrative paradigm of Goa, moving from a centralized, office-bound service model to a proactive, outreach-based governance framework. By organizing grassroots camps, the state government aims to dismantle the bureaucratic silos that often hinder the common citizen's access to welfare schemes and essential administrative services. At its core, this initiative addresses the 'last-mile' challenge in public service delivery. In many regions, citizens—particularly those in rural or marginalized communities—face significant hurdles in navigating complex administrative procedures, leading to the exclusion of eligible beneficiaries from state-sponsored welfare.
