Demographic Dividend and the Imperative of Institutional Integrity in Public Examinations

In her address on the eve of the 80th Independence Day, President Droupadi Murmu underscored the pivotal role of India’s youth in shaping the nation’s trajectory. With approximately 65% of the population under the age of 35, India possesses a significant demographic dividend that serves as its most valuable asset. However, the President noted that the realization of this potential is inextricably linked to the state's ability to provide a fair, transparent, and meritocratic environment for the youth to thrive. Recent student-led protests across the country, triggered by concerns over systemic inefficiencies and paper leaks, have brought the issue of administrative accountability to the forefront.
