Leveraging Digital Public Infrastructure for Global Sustainable Development: India’s Strategic Outreach at UNGA 2026

The 'India Day @ UNGA 2026' event, held on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly High-Level Week, served as a strategic platform for India to project its developmental success stories as replicable models for the Global South. As the world approaches the 2030 deadline for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), India’s emphasis on 'Digital Public Infrastructure' (DPI) and 'Women-Led Development' highlights a shift from traditional aid-based models to technology-driven, scalable empowerment frameworks.
